Repeat Prescriptions
For medication which you need on a regular basis it may not be necessary to see a doctor to obtain your prescription. You will be given a computer-produced repeat prescription slip that lists the items you can request. When you need your medication tick the items you require and return the slip to us. Your prescription will be ready for collection in 2 working days (except Bank Holidays)
Alternatively you can register for our online services and order via the link at the top of this page.
- Please try to help us by giving us your repeat prescription request in good time.
- Try not to run out of medication and create a crisis for yourself.
- Please enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope if requesting postal return of your prescription.
Some of the local pharmacies offer a prescription collection service, which you can enquire about at your local pharmacy.
We will not give prescriptions to children under 16 years for collection on behalf of others.
No telephone requests please.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
